1. Is Starlink a reliable internet service ?

Yes, Starlink is a very reliable satellite internet service with low latency (comparing with classic satellite internet service). The latency on Starlink is average 70ms and that is extraordinary considering the distances between earthed based NOC, orbiting satellite and customer house.

2. Can I do Zoom video calling with Starlink ?

Yes Starlink works very well with Zoom calling and video conferencing applications over internet

3. Does Starlink support a VoIP Line (a landline for business) ?

Yes, Starlink successfully supports VoIP landlines. We can help you setup your landline and cloud PBX if needed. We work with WiFiMax in Sydney for VoIP and cloud PBX over Starlink connections. They offer cloud PBX and VoIP services for businesses that are required to run cloud PBX and VoIP landline services over Starlink satellite internet. The monthly cost for 1 landline number (new or bring your number) is $ 25.00 per month and that includes cloud PBX and all calls to Australia landline and mobile phones included.

4. Does Starlink work with online gaming ?

Yes it does. However Starlink router does not support certain features in regards to remote access, ports configuration, etc. In that case you can remove the original Starlink router and install a configurable third party router that can handle online gaming very well 

5. How do I get Starlink and how much it costs to have it all up and running ?

Step 1. Order your Starlink equipment kit at www.starlink.com. Equipment cost is : $ 924.00 (AUD) including shipping. Then you have to pay a monthly fee of $ 139.00 (AUD) for internet service

Step 2. Call us 02 90672068 to install your Starlink equipment. Our standard installation cost is  $ 400.00 (AUD) and that price includes a heavy duty roof mount that we supply to you, travel fee and full professional installation and setup of wifi. Warranty is 5 years.

6. Can i extend my Starlink to another building on my property ? I live on a farm and I have a shed 800 meters away and I need internet and WiFi there. Do I need to pay Starlink extra money for that ?

Yes, definitely we can do that. Our Starlink installer will install a Point to Point Kit that allows you to beam your internet up to 3 km. At the remote building, we will install a new WiFi router so the remoute building has WiFi signal everytwhere. There is no extracharge to Starlink for that. Your monthly bill remains unchanged.

7. How much do you charge for a Point to Point Extension Kit all supplied and installed ?

A Point to Point Kit supplied and installed by us cost around $ 750.00 including everything.

8. Can I use Starlink for business ? I operate a caravan park and i want to get starlink installed and share wifi with my customers (about 100 of them at once) ?

Standard starlink is not designed for business purpose unless you have a home office. In your case you need to get Starlink Business. Get in touch with us first before you order it. Starlink Business is more expensive than domestic Starlink but it offers a business grade internet solution. You can share the wifi with your customers but that is a more complex installation. You will need to have a network of wifi boosters for park signal coverage, also you will need to configure your router to support security for you users. Note that public wifi requires you to operate a hotspot solution and implement newtwork security (v-Lans, Client isolation, etc.). But yes it is possible and we can help you with the installation process including the IT side of it.

9. What is the warranty you offer with your installation ? Are you a registered cabler ?

We offer a 5 years warranty for Starlink installation. Yes, we are ACMA registered cabling provider.

10. I cannot find a Starlink phone number ? How can I call them ?

Starlink does not take phone calls. You can only contact Starlink if you have an account with them and you can only contact them in writing by sending a support ticket from your Starlink portal.

11. How can I open a support ticket with Starlink ? I am logged in to my Starlink account but I cannot send a ticket. I am unable to locate the "Send Ticket" section

Easy !  go to technical support, select the topic that is similar with your situation, read it and then at the bottom of the page hit "thumb down" icon. That will open the ticket form for you. If you installed your Starlink with us you can call us and we can deal with that for you.
